This project was designed to allow students to independently study the use of mathematics in today's society. It was a project which provided us with the chance to research how mathematics is used in any other field of work.

For this assignment it was decided to research how mathematics has been used in the study of meteorology, and how it has lead to theories and ideas developed within it.
